Minecraft Legends Rewrites the Rules of The Sandbox Game

Minecraft Legends changes the rules of Minecraft to team you up with enemies in an "fairytale" action-strategy twist on one of the best sandbox games of all time. The team behind Minecraft Legends RTS gave a preview to PCGamesN at Gamescom. They gave a brief overview of the key details players are likely to encounter when it launches in 2023.

Minecraft Legends is a strategy-based game that lets you play the role of a hero. You'll be the commander of your troops, and you will direct your troops from front lines. Minecraft Legends features a main campaign mode with a variety of difficulty levels and versus options and a variety of challenges that players can complete. There will also be an online marketplace.

Players can choose from a variety of heroes, but these are just for show - there are no different classes or weapons, instead each player will carry their sword. Instead, the focus is on making friends . Your allies can assist you in acquiring materials, and construct and manage your basic structures. All of this will help you fight against Nether World forces, who have overrun the Overworld with their hordes of piglins.

Allies can come from a range of sources. You can connect with villages from different biomes that will help you to gather materials. In a Mortal Kombat-esque fashion the threat of The Nether World sees enemies joining forces against an enemy common to all. As such, you will encounter enemy mobs that are usually considered to be threats in Minecraft like zombies become your allies. The team says that because this spin-off game is an "legend," it can alter the rules of Minecraft.

In addition to using the help of your allies and the base structures they build, you'll be able to make use of special resources from the world that combine games of action and strategic aspects. You can move faster using speed wheat, and bobbing mushrooms can give you some verticality and assist you in getting there faster. You can construct bases to get respawn points and fast travel to them.

Your ultimate objective is to destroy the Nether Portal and then attack the enemy base. Each game will create a new world for the player by using procedural generation. This is similar to the traditional Minecraft. However you will receive an in-game map. The area around the piglin base will be contaminated by Nether, meaning it's hazardous to your troops and you and a strategic approach is advised if you wish to win the day.  Cohune The destruction of the base will anger the big piglin who is leading the Nether World forces, and they'll find you.
